Autumn

This week Ruma Ono is looking at Autumn. We began today by writing a senses poem about it. We all had to go outside and we spent some time looking, smelling and touching things that happen in Autumn.

In the afternoon we made some leaf art to go with our poems. We had to paint each leaf and then carefully press it on to our paper.

Check back each day to see some of the great things we do.

ANZAC activities

We had a blast in Room 6 today. Our whole day was ANZAC themed.

We started off the morning by making ANZAC biscuits...they were delicious!!!

We made a bit of a mess so we each had a turn at vacuuming up our mess.

Next we made poppies from paper.

Lastly we made poppies using paint. We used our fingers for the poppies, paint brushes for the stem and cardboard for the grass.

Banana Smoothies

Two weeks ago we had lots of bananas at school going off. So Room 6 decided to make a smoothie out of them. They were very delicious. Once we had made them we wrote some instructions and designed our own flavoured smoothie. Check out our wall display below.
